Mosconi Cup 2025, Dec. 3-6, Alexandra Palace, London

Inside will not take well on the slick cloth. He played the correct shot, but he just hit it bad
It's easy for me to speak from here, it's also different when just set this up on the home table...but I stand by my call. Just made it multiple times. Heck, even without the touch of inside, the high ball straightened it out enough to have a good shot...

Perhaps just another of many reasons I'll never be a champion...but that's the way i play that.

All that aside, tough to see. You could tell the guy was feeling the pressure big time. (Not many wouldn't on the day, without the day befores performance) If it was tables turned and europe...would have rooted for that out to make it just a tiny bit interesting...

he left himself weird on the 7. He could have taken a more aggressive shot on that to get better on the 8, rather than playing safe on the 7 and leaving himself a tricky one on the 8. The 8 was closer to the pocket so I get why he did it the way he did.
I tend to agree with you, but if you choose to play for the funny angle on the 8, you have to then take your medicine and make a better effort to get on the 9. He needed to follow that 8 with some inside to get good on the 9.

Gorst looked shell shocked in that first game against Filler. I think the whole Team USA is shell shocked after what just happened in that first match. Filler's position shot from the six to seven in rack one was twice as hard as Styer's eight to nine was, and he hit it perfectly. That clearly shows the difference ability wise in these two teams. Pros playing amateurs is how it looks.

A little misleading. Streaming is 29%, not most. What you are lumping into streaming like YouTube TV, for example, is a viewing experience pretty much identical to cable tv and absolutely via a "channel" like ESPN, FSN, various sports networks, you name it. Now, you may "stream" via YouTube TV because that's where you get Peacock or ESPN+ or whatever via an app but the vast majority of live sports on YouTube TV, for example, is really no different than cable or satellite.
Only misleading if you can't add. It is 51% streaming. Almost all of the sports networks like ESPN stream now and most of their viewership is via that streaming.

You know it's bad when Filler is having snacks while he's playing and chewing while at the table. We're cooked.

Speaking of snacks, Fedor should give Tyler some of those supplements he's trying to sell.
