100%. Crying about the crowd is ridiculous. The US team has absolutely fallen apart at key moments. I admittedly do not watch all that much pool live, but some of the misses and blown shape has been unforgiveable. Yes, there is pressure, but damn, these are pros that do this for a living...crazy.

You are conflating two separate issue.

The US team's performance is one thing (it sucks); the behavior of the crowd is another (also sucks).

And yet here all of us are talking about it. MR can't buy this kind of exposure/discussion. When the USOpen or World Champ's are going on there is MAYBE 10-15% of the interest/discussion. Its a one-off/yearly deal, its not a championship but merely 12mos. of bragging rights, nothing more. The US will be lucky to win three of the next ten, if that.

What’s the big deal?
Pool needs the madness, the crazy crowd, the Earl Stricklands and the Jayson Shaws.
The Europeans don’t mind the noise while shooting the 9.
Pro pool players should be mentally above and beyond letting some sharking affect them.
Just an excuse for poor performance
 
Yeah I would suggest everyone stop watching until they do something about it. Them allowing the crowd to be going nuts only when americans are down on the 9 ball is absolutely ridiculous. I won't be watching any more WNT events. I've also cancelled my sub.

If you're winning its not an issue and it's fun, if you're losing, it's the reason you're losing and you should be able to beat the people up 🤔. Did I get it right? This is actually how people think.

If America was winning and encouraging the yelling there wouldn't be a word said

Keep crying. These people are spending their hard-earned money to be there, even though tickets are ridiculously overpriced. If they want to shout, who are you to say otherwise?

If I'm paying $1,000 to be at an event meant for entertainment, no one should be able to tell me to shut up.

Do people on floor seats shut up when LeBron is shooting a freethrow? Go be disgruntled somewhere else.
