I kinda gather that. The news says it's in the gov stacking the elections too.At least historically, the story was that many of the backers for money matches were the type of people you didn’t want to cross like that.

I’m sure Guama, along with everyone and their mother, were aware Oscar touched the table. Why didn’t he refuse to play or adjust?
It’s a way out.
The unanswered question (as far as I can see) is what Guama and his team knew about Oscar tightening the bolts. Oscar said he did it openly.
If Guama or his team saw Oscar doing this, then to me they could either demand the bolts be loosened or call off the match. I don’t think they can play with knowledge and complain later.
If Oscar did it openly but not in view of Guama or his team, I think they’ve got a point. I don’t think Oscar is cheating if that’s what happened, but I don’t think you can change the playing conditions without the opponent’s knowledge.
I’ve never seen anyone adjust the table mid-action on their own accord. I wouldn’t be happy if my playing competitor showed with tools and starting wrenching on the table. Oscar opened up a can of worms on himself. If he had a problem with the table, he should have addressed it with Guama and had someone neutral fix the table.
I am not in anyway saying Oscar is a cheat. But he opened himself up for controversy.
Sounds like excuses to meif fixed to roll differently from what the other expects. same with banks. and idiosyncrasy on specific points on rails.
especially if the other person is familiar with the table as it was.. which i believe was the case and the point of playing on that table.
I wouldn’t call fixing dead spots on the cushions by tightening loose rail bolts and replacing missing rail bolts as cheating. It’s not like he snuck in and did it in the middle of the night. It’s not hard for a professional level player to quickly see and hear the sound of dead spots on the cushions when hitting some balls on the table. It’s not an unreasonable request for the table to play the way it should play.I’ve never seen anyone adjust the table mid-action on their own accord. I don’t know. I find it hard to believe they didn’t. There’s 2 sides to every side and then the truth.Would it matter if they didn't? Because Guama and his backers are saying they didn't know anything about Oscar working on the table until yesterday,
I clearly stated that I am not calling Oscar a cheater.I wouldn’t call fixing dead spots on the cushions by tightening loose rail bolts and replacing missing rail bolts as cheating. This is why I live by Eddie Felson's "Nice clean pocket drop"If the angles the pockets are cut at are weird... Shooting balls into the facing from certain angles makes balls rattle.
Sounds like he's a typical scumbag pool player.Sounds like Guama prefers Goldcrown’s over Diamonds! Sorry, I couldn’t resist![]()
Wasn’t Guama up 9-1 to start? Are we saying he didn’t know how to play on that newly tightened cushion when he was winning, or was it only when was losing that he wasn’t used to the better conditions.
A great look for pool.
