How many pool table can I fit in 2000 sq ft room

Depends on the size of table and other space needs. A table needs 5 feet around each side for decent space to play on, so say 15x 20 feet for a 9 footer. The rest is math.

I was thinking about asking some pool hall owner.

I’m also doing pool table removal/install and sale. Thank you for info.

You need to consider seating and tables for the customers too. And the dimensions of the room too (is it perfectly square? A rectangle? Or with odd dimensions? any poles or other obstacles).

Also, square footage and room measurements in real estate are often unreliable. I’d measure every thing myself.

Further consideration is that the using minimum distance between tables will mean people often have to wait for the other players to shoot. May not bother casual players but serious players won’t love it.

A good architect or designer with CAD could probably help a great deal.

Yeah. I saw the layout. Its not as much as i thought.
Originally its an office, so with two small rooms. I was thinking having 3 pool tables and two poker room but its too much headache. Thank you all.

as long as the tables adjoining are sharing that 5 foot space plus a some extra.

you do need close to 5 feet from walls. playing surface is 8 feet 4 inches.

It’s 2’ wide and 1000’ long.

He’ll need a short stick or something.

Hmn….2’ wide…333 yds & 1 ft. long,….how about using it to create the world’s longest shuffle boar table or a 1 person long distance shooting range you rent by the hour? I know a lot of guys, and myself, would use it to sight in our long rifles. There aren’t that many 1000 yd. gun ranges. It requires a venting system but gosh, It would be so cool to go to a solitary gun range and take your time to sight your rifle & shoot for MOA accuracy.

Here's the amount of space needed for a "9-footer" to give 6" minimum stroking room all around (with a 58" cue). Maybe you can print some, cut them out and see how they fit in a scale drawing of your room(s)...?

[Note: The green playing area below is measured cushion nose-to-cushion nose, and the gray stroking area is measured from the cushion nose. Cushions/rails are assumed to be under the gray next to the green.]
