Watch this match and see what you think of playing by these rules.
It's a Gandy. The reason I posted this was it's such a crazy tournament. It's total offense with a shot clock and the matches played in two halves. You can't play safe and if the guy misses you can just keep making him shoot until you want the shot. What table was this, nice felt color though?
One . they were playing around with formats trying to see what would be exciting. I want to say that Roger Griffis won this tournament.Does anybody know how many of these tournaments they put on?
The one match I saw on YouTube was Strickland and Mike massey. It was horrible to watch it just looked like chaos. One . they were playing around with formats trying to see what would be exciting. I want to say that Roger Griffis won this tournament.
At one time the big G was found in some rooms. You could buy them out the door for around $600.00 to $800.00. Had a friend opened a place and bought 12 tables for $7000.00. over time though he swapped them out as he could afford it. Does Gandy even make tables anymore.I was never crazy about this model of Gandy table. I had played on a few and were ok if set up right.
At 27:32 a skinny Earl leaned against the table and the whole table moved, like the table supports were not tightened.
According to AI Roger, "The Rocket" Travis won.![]()

This was the semi-finals. Mike Massey was already way passed his prime and concentrating on trick shots with exhibitions. But Mike Massey was such a good player, and his third place finish in this tournament was super exciting for everyone. The one match I saw on YouTube was Strickland and Mike massey. Yes, I just was poking fun of AI. I remember Roger winning an ESPN tourny probablly Ultimate 9 ball.Roger Griffis
