Thoughts ... Russian Kenny is out of prision

Yes. I agree with every word you wrote. Now your name comes up for bid, they ask you if your doing an opening bid you decline.
They ask if anyone else wants to bid on you. Nobody does so you go in the pool.
Now at this certain establishment they say if you are in the pool you are not allowed to bid on the pool. Their rules not mine.
I’ve played in hundreds of tournaments with Calcuttas but they do theirs like this. Not my rules.
The point was, how many places do that? I would bet this is the only one. It's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

Do they give your $$$ back for anybody else you have bought and tell you that you cannot bid on them either cause you didnt buy yourself?

It's not a stupid question at this point

Calm down. No. You just can’t buy the pool… cause you’re in it.

We all did that in Syracuse....but everyone just gets a buddy to buy the field that they were in. These guys weren't remotely likely to place anyway...more dead money for the winners.

I had never seen him play before. He looks and strokes like a banger but can get the job done.

His current opponent is a 691 and Kenny’s winning 9-3. Does the opponent not play for money or something? Ouch.

Kenny's a bum. Always has been. Always will be. AND I LIKE THE GUY, HAHA. I've known him for about 25 years. He's always been broke. Anytime he gets a dollar he loses it. He's funny to be around. He's great for action. He's a legit decent player. But never lend him a dollar unless it's a pure gift from you to him. Everyone in Philly has known this since 1999, but he didn't get known nationally as a bum until he started going to the DCC. That's how he got over on a bunch of guys that loaned him money at DCC and far-from-home tournaments over the years.

Who won? Was that a red label Oak Professional from 1999? hahaha. Maybe the other guy thought he'd have an edge on that over Kenny. There were a bunch of these tables in Philly over the years. Kenny knows how to play on them.

Kenny won a 9 ball set for 4k, lost a 14.1 set for 2k, and won a 9 ball set for 1k against a second opponent.

Played him a couple of times.
He has unlimited confidence in himself at the table. If you have skills at the table then you know that unlimited confidence can take you far. You can take what the table gives you because you already know that you're going to pocket the ball.

Maybe they have pool tables in prison where he was.
I don't know him and never heard of him till this post, but I had to start watching the video just to see him. I have to admit he actually seems likeable, his non stop talking while he is shooting is fun to watch. If he were to stop talking for a second, it would really be a quick game with him, even quicker than it already is if that was possible.

they generally do for some.

and dont underestimate any one that is a money player that misses some. not all are on important games. you play to beat your opponent not to teach him a lesson.

Years ago I was visiting a friend in “college”, the federal prison in Terre Haute. It was the medium security one, not the bad one across the street.
I was surprised to see they had some pool tables there!

He was only on vacation for a year or so. He's been out for a month or so. It only takes a week of solid play to get back in stroke in a situation like that.
