How to find another member here?

In the past when I would want to find someone I would go to 'Members' then it would find an alphabetic list of all the members.
Today I found a list of 'Registered Members' Thousands of them! in a random list. I don't recall the exact spelling or entire name of the gentleman's handle so I had no luck there either. Question is there still a way to find a member using a logical alphabetical order if you know the beginning part of their name?

I think it basically is in order, there's just a ton of usernames.

I did a brief search to see if I could find a search syntax, but there's not a lot of info out there for Xenforo. Perhaps someone that runs the site can shed more light on the subject.

It is in alphabetical order. Quotes come first, then #, then $$... etc. Once you get past all the symbols, it goes to numbers, then letters...

just start typing their name/handle in the 'find a member box' it'll pop up.

Type "@" then follow with the first few letters and hits start coming.

That does not seem to be so. Here is page 2487 past all that and it goes
h-d-jj-k-b-d with odd characters like upside down exclamation points odd squiggly lines some sort of crosses... I don't know. I tried typing is as much as knew and nothing came up. It was so much better back when it was simply alphabetical not numbers and pronouns and squiggly stuff then dog and cat symbols followed by???
It wasn't broken, But I'm glad they fixed it.

Can you click the header of the name column and make the data resort as per the clicked header?

Sounding a lot like work up in hrrre.
