That match was a shitshow and brutal to watch.
There is no way in hell that guy plays better than Oscar, but Oscar let the "conditions" dictate the outcome of the match.
If he can't fade this guy, there is no way people on here should be screaming that he should play in the Mosconi Cup.

Oscar definitely didn't play his top speed. He looked "off". Maybe it was the"conditions". Maybe something else.

I was referring more to the wiping his cue and wiping the table before each shot. That had to be tough to endure, would of been for me anyway.

oscar has probably played every slow and quirky player there is.. but i guess everyone has a breaking point, so it's possible. most of all he seemed off in speed and position play. didn't miss much but failed position again and again.

they have gamble but don't have as much time for it. svb, fedor, filler all gamble and svb and fedor have tried to make a game against josh for years. there are just not that many free days to book where they are in the same part of the world etc. the pinoys gamble all the time but same thing there, the top touring guys like biado and chua don't have as much time for it as they used to. mostly lower tier players on the pinoy streams these days.
when the pros are in Vegas they're all at Griff's matching up. They gamble when they can.

Which is what caused the argument.
What if a guy gets down on the 6 ball, about to shoot, and his pal yells out "wait, you're on the 5 ball!" In a heads up match for $50K, that's gonna cause a scene, no matter who's playing.
I am impressed with Oscar's ability to remain calm.
I would have called some friends in to keep the peace while I pummeled that emo POS for all the stalling and BS he was pulling.
I would not want to watch, but I'd like to see the score of the emo guy playing Henney and bet on the over for match time.
