FREE Action Stream.......starts tonite

Oscar steps up and consistently takes on tough action games. He knew it was a tough game, but felt the risk was worth taking. It didn't seem he played his best and struggled to fade the unique conditions. That's how it goes.

However, as far as the Mosconi cup is concerned, I would put zero stock in how he did in a match like this. Gambling is entirely different for 1 and 2 the Mosconi cup is a unique beast of it's own and 9ball with combos allowed and not 10ball. Yes, the games are similar, but there is still so much that was different. Additionally, I highly doubt half the guys that play Mosconi would have fared much better against Raulito on his home turf. Oscar played pretty solid in virtually the same game vs Guama and I think it's moot in regards to Mosconi, for the same reasons mentioned above.

I'm happy we have guys like Oscar willing to bet big and do it on stream. It was a fun sweat the last few days.

Seriously though, can anyone imagine this crew not reacting AT ALL if Oscar randomly picked up the 9 ball? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Which is what caused the argument.

What if a guy gets down on the 6 ball, about to shoot, and his pal yells out "wait, you're on the 5 ball!" In a heads up match for $50K, that's gonna cause a scene, no matter who's playing.
Do you think the argument was because Jeff pointed it out or
because Towelito picked up the 9 ball?
Why would he pick up the 9?
And what do you think should be done with the 9, turn it in at the bar?

Someone in the chat said the only good thing to come of this set is that a bunch of child support would be paid....
Just a WAG, but I, not being a glass half full guy, suspect child support is not priority 1. Assuming anybody on the winning side has an outstanding child support order they are behind on. 😉

He picked up the nine because he had a brain fart...5 or 6 hours in to a long set. You've never done something like that?

And yes, I think the argument was because somebody not in the game called the foul when the other player wasn't paying attention.

It ended up how I think is correct - ball in hand for Oscar, 9 ball down, the rail on notice to behave. (Actually, Oscar should have the option of replacing the nine ball.)

I don't know OD but I do think you can't pound the hardasses and be a successful business and family man simultaneously. Too many conflicts to fade. But if you can go play pool for a vacation, knock yourself out. There's always the next round and plenty anywhere.

Maybe Oscar should have made a few "adjustments" to the table before they started the last set.

Sounds like an Oscar problem not a conditions problem

Sounds like you have an Oscar problem. People said the conditions were tough for Oscar (which they certainly seemed to be to me) and you said well Oscar won the first day (implying that the conditions weren’t tough on him). I responded that he apparently struggled one day one too but Raulito played worse.

On day one Raulito was not stalling by cleaning the table and wiping down his shaft after every shot.
He clearly realized he couldn't beat Oscar on skill and devised a plan to take Oscar out of his game.
It worked, to the detriment of the game.

Again, sounds like an Oscar problem. Why would that mean I have an Oscar problem? I didnt bet on the match, I don't give a shit who won(although id prefer it be Oscar) they both played on the same table, yes or no?
