I've never taken a lesson from Jerry.

Nor have I heard him talk about this.

So, having said this, is Jerry one of those instructors that advocates rolling balls down the table to make you a much improved, really good player?

I can't say but Jerry often asks his students, at the outlet of a lesson/clinic, "I'm sure you are here to learn how to control the _______", Invariably the response will be, "well the cue ball of course." Jerry will be quick to respond, "No, the only thing you can control is the CUE STICK!" And, he teaches it well!

So why ask a silly, borderline insulting question and put it that way? Seriously.

See for yourself...here's one topic from his 3 dvd set "A pool lesson by Jerry Briesath":

'
There are a couple of other topics available for free on youtube.

In the video, Mark Wilson is hitting the shots; he wrote "Play Great Pool", and he is one of the branches of the Jerry Briesath lineage of pool instructors. For a fee, you used to be able to download "A pool lesson by Jerry Briesath" from vimeo, but it isn't there anymore.

Mark is one of my cohosts and he loves Jerry like a father. You can still get Jerry’s lessons as a CD set. It is outstanding!
