Sam Engles backslid to his old ways

Just a quick word of warning to the AZ community. Sam screwed me and won't respond to my texts, emails, calls, or eBay messaging. I waited 3 or 4 months.

I was actually concerned he had some kind of medical issue or even kicked off, but I had the police perform a wellness check at his house and he's fine. Nope, just radio silence holding my cash as well as my Fellini case. I guess the old adage a tiger doesn't change his stripes applies here. So much for second chances.

I had my suspicions earlier last year when I did some business with him. I didn't lose anything. I got what I paid for, but I was concerned about some additional business and just backed away.

I did talk to someone that knows him and they did say that they had their concerns as well.

Personally, I wouldn't do any business with him without protection. If paying him, do it in a way that you can reverse if needed.

I won't go into details, but there are those who know what the issue is I am sure. I just won't discuss his private matters. I can't claim to know for sure anyway so it would be inappropriate for me to act like I do. I do hope and wish he does better.

All of a sudden, for whatever reason, he just decides to screw people over and he doesn't discriminate who it is...friend or stranger. Yes, well, as you indicate it hasn't been a secret.

I think the fact that you checked on him rather than just first try to blow up his reputation when he wasn't responding says a lot about your own character.
