It's that time of the year!

Qualifiers going on now, and the main even starts next Saturday.

Like last year, you can watch on WST Play if you're in America.

I, too, have backed Wu Yize. Just £20 at odds of 19 to 1.

Unfortunately he has rather a tough draw and has since drifted to 21 to 1 over here in England.

It’s shocking how mean the odds you were offered, sir.

Right now over here in England those same players are…

Xintong at 2.5 to 1

O Sullivan at 8.6 to 1

Yize at 21 to 1

Guodong at 89 to 1

i will wait until final brackets and then likely place a series of tickets to test out chat gpt betting advice, it seems pretty confident it can provide a return of at least 25% above total monies bet

Zhao and Ronnie are solid bets . Though I think Zhao may fall to Crucible Curse :ROFLMAO: I think Ronnie will win it this year and retire but he is in very tough top half of draw.
If not Ronnie, I think either Mark Selby (in form this year) or Trump https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_World_Snooker_Championship#Main_draw

I have really mixed feelings about the fact they've announced the tournament is staying at the Crucible as the local council and government have promised to spend a fortune upgrading the Crucible. Been down to Sheffield a few times to watch matches. It's a really great city and love the fact the tournament is staying where so much history has been made. But the fact the government is spending money on this which will allow Matchroom to make bigger profits sits badly with me. Especially has Hearne has pretty much coerced them into it by threatening to take the tournament to the middle east.
