Info on Adam cue model AA-4 - age, value

I believe the black/gold and gold wraps are 'Gran Prixs' and 'Rivieras'. Probably 3/4 of the pile are those...
Do those Rambow cues have pointed pins? Do any have aluminum shaft inserts?

If you release them all at once, market saturation will suppress the value. They aren't super valuable, but NIB is special for sure.

Frank Jarus was a Cleveland-based billiard distributor and cue designer according to my searches. Anybody confirm that info?

If memory serves, 'doc', all these cues have a pointed pin (I'd have to dig 'em out to be sure, but I'm pretty sure on that), same on the insert (again, pretty sure, not positive)... They'll be sold singly, along and along (or that's the plan anyway)... I think there were around 6 Rambows. I've 'gifted' a couple (to an old buddy/pool partner of my uncles that used to shoot with a Rambow, he once mentioned years ago he'd like to have another one, and one to a player from the old pool room days). Think there's prolly 3-4 left...

And Thanks for the info/help :)

That's interesting. And sounds plausible... I always just assumed 'Jarus' was some Japanese guy in the factory :)
These may have been made for his distribution. That could be more interesting to collectors as he was involved with distribution of Frank Paradise cues and others.

It wouldn't be as valuable as a link to Wright Cue Company, but worth looking into.

Off topic but have to ask. Kowalski383, Do you happen to drive a white Challenger with a 383?
Not currently, 'Sooner' :) Did drive a blue one for a few years... (It was a decent '30-footer' or so)...

Wow, I never seen an Adam cue with the logo where it is located, up near the joint collar. Looks like it was made in the South West Style, with the 3/8x11 joint pin, and the SW Style ringwork, and SW Style butt sleeve. Everything looks SW Style, other then the 8 Points. I got nothing, but very cool looking cue. I would not be surprised if it were made in Taiwan though, because that is where they build these SW style cues.

Hi, if you decide to auction these cues off, I would space the auctions out, with at least 5 day auctions, and only do 1 at a time, if they are identical. Just don't overcrowd the market too much with cues. They might sell for a lot less money if you just put them all up for auction at the same time. Just a thought. I might be wrong though. This one ebay seller, that sells a lot of cool vintage cues, he does 10 day auctions. I think 5-7 days are long enough though.
