Filler just absolutely smoking Shaw 11-2 is wild. Shaw had a run of what, 3-4 years of being known as the guy with supernatural ball pocketing skills who made the game look easy. Then Filler came along with even better ball pocketing skills and even more “I am inevitable” confidence. And he beats Jayson handily almost every time they match up in tournaments. Jayson is still a force but his entire “player profile” now is just a lesser version of Filler.

Saw someone posted this on Reddit, where a player got up and down 10 times on a shot and took 4 minutes:

Holy moly this Lopotko guy plays slower than a Hennessy Raulito scotch doubles team.

Edit: I searched his name in this forum and the only notable thread that came up was one of AtLarge's posts where he noted that Lotopko was in both the longest match and the match w the highest minutes per inning in the 2026 SBE pro event

Yapp has beaten Filler quite a lot recently.

Ko Ping Chung is kind of overrated, had one good US Open and then disappeared.

The elite young guys seem unfazed by Filler. Gorst (for the most part), Little Ko, Yapp, Chua, and Kaci. But I think Filler has a big psychological advantage over most of the older elite pros.

Ko Ping Chung is definitely not overrated.

Kaci isn't scared of filler but he isn't elite anymore, svb isn't scared of anyone, same for biado. Yapp just was unlucky against souto. With all that said filler is unbelievable right now

Filler was the most demonstrative this tournament in his final rack beating Feijin. Niels has beaten Filler several times in the last few years. Filler knew he dodged a bullet on Saturday vs Feijin, who gave him all he could handle. So he was psyched up when he finally won.

Niels isn’t intimidated by anyone. More players need his mental toughness. Shaw fell apart against him. Naoyuki Oy did last year. Wojo hasn’t had great success vs Josh.
