️About John Bender️

Started hitting balls around age 12. Played as much as 7 to 9 hours a day 360 days a year. Plenty of tournament action, etc.... Eventually in 1988 started selling cues for/with Richard Black around the country and he started mentoring him in making cues around year 2000. Richard said him couldn't keep up the playing schedule but cues were a good direction to go. So here he is 24 years later with a shop full of machine and sawdust everywhere .
But happy doing it. John's cues are based in the very traditional styles of Black, Balabushka, Palmer, Paradise, etc.
But he does stray into making cues that are artful and interesting. However, the main objective is and will always be making a strong, solid playable cue. After that looks are the fun part.
