Chinese ace Wu Jiaqing collected what is understood to be the richest prize in cuesports history last weekend when he won the 2026 Duya Legends Golden Nine International Tour Global Finals title. Wu defeated compatriot Zheng Xiaohuai 140-82 in the final in Beijing to scoop the jackpot of 10 million Chinese Yuan; this equates to over £1.1 million/$1.4 million, although this is before tax is removed. I wonder what the delta is between the richest prize and the 2nd richest prize (not in the same tournament) in cuesports history.
 
wow - it is nice to see the growth in these countries - including payouts. wonder if chinese billiards would gain more popularity in north america with this incentive
