Historic Cues. Do you have any?

Reported.... I'm a big fan of Bumper-less. Anyway cue should be level...you know better..... PuckerUp ButterCup
Well, I don't own this one, so I felt funny about posting it. But, I have posted about it elsewhere before and was encouraged by someone to put it in this thread.
I will always number this among the ones that got away.
It came up on my radar in 2013, when I was in communication with the original owner. We spoke for several hours on the phone after several email exchanges. He said he was a neighbor of McDermott and watched him build this cue in his garage. There was another, this is the second one. The other one is lost to history, sold long ago, it was his father that owned the other one. The cue I am posting has changed hands at least a couple times since 2013 as far as I know. I wanted it but the price was way too high for me. Honestly I should have just bought it.
This is said to be the second McDermott branded cue ever made. Circa 1973/74. Before the clover logo, and before he settled on his 3/8x10 pin.
As you can see, it was clearly made with parts from Viking. I have many more detailed pictures of this cue, as well as records of the emails with the original owner and the stories that go with the cue.
Here you can see it in the original Viking Tiger Deluxe case that it was kept in since new.

Very nice addition to the thread, thanks. Although he's not with us anymore, Jim McDermott was instrumental in American cuemaking for decades. This is the earliest and fanciest one that I've seen.
