people talking like it's all rare for pool players to be married and still perform. biado is married and is the current world champion, his third world championship title. albin is married and is a double world champion. etc.
sky will never be a champion because by his own admission he "don't like practice". i would be very surprised if sky puts in the equivalent of a regular working man's hours into his profession.
He just had his first kid dude..that changes your life. I’m not saying he will never be again but he just took some serious time off .. don’t be an asshole

Odd thing is, Sky and Billy bought a clothing company a year or two ago to sell pool-relate apparel. You'd think he would want to be better for that reason alone, if he's still in business.
If not, it's his life. I definitely don't begrudge anyone for choosing more family time given what pro pool pays. If Sky has another job - I am not aware of what else he does - and it pays pretty well, kudos to him.
Why? He's putting in the time and effort and not choking, like a few other Americans.

no, he didn't, but that's beside the fact. me saying that biado, father of five and married, is triple world champion is not being an asshole either. sky had literally said that he doesn't like practice, which arguably is part of his profession.

He's often made light of his dislike of practice. True? I don't know. He has a world of talent. Johann said he is one of his top students ever. I would love to see him in top gear, but if wants to put family first, that's great. I just don't want to see him on the Mosconi unless he's putting in enough effort like other players.
more american than fedor.. but probably less sought after by coach johann. or matchroom for that matter.
