Steve Miserak/ Adam’s Pool Cue

Hey guys,

I’m new here and I’ve heard this is the most informative group there is regarding everything pool. I have a rarer Adam’s cue from the 1970s/1980s. After some research I read that this cue was a misprint from the first productions from Japan. I believe this is the cats eye cue but if anyone has any additional information or is interested in buying the cue please feel free to message me.

it was never a quality cue just one endorsed by steve for profit. the fact that his name was misspelled doesnt make it some real rare valuable cue. just makes it another average cue that sold during those times.

i cant see it being worth more than a few hundred bucks.

good luck with your sale here. maybe someone will pop out of the wood work and give you what you probably want.
 
The misspelling gets some attention, they are "collectible". Made about 1980.

Good quality cue from Adam. Notice the grain in the joint ring, that is phenolic, not plastic like the lower end cues. Same with the black in the butt sleeve, a phenolic.

The condition is important, and that looks like it is probably in great condition.

I would say it's worth a couple hundred. The higher models with points, veneers, and fancier butt sleeve are worth more.

They made exactly the same cue, with the misspelling, and the Miller Lite logo, which is more rare.

These are much better than the Kao Kao made Miller Lite cues that were marketed by Steve Mizerak's company.

One day we are going to fix that "Adams" issue.

Well, either that or start a rumor that it is a company owned by Samuel Adams beer.

What will be really wild is if the Mandela Effect kicked in and all of a sudden we looked back and it was Adams all along. :ROFLMAO:
