In my experience, PayPal collects no fee for Friends and Family. Someone sends me $50, I get $50.
Why do you think PayPal extracts a fee on F&F?
^^^^^^^The sender pays the fee
A (gross) side hustle? What's with people's bare feet in cue pictures?
There is no fee for Friends and Family if you pay with your PayPal balance or a linked bank account. The sender pays the fee
If I see "F&F only" in a listing, I assume it's a scam and move on. It's easy enough to factor the 3% fee into the advertised price to pass the fee on to the buyer, so there must be a reason they are trying to sidestep buyer protection. Since selling goods or services via F&F constitutes fraud, they are literally presenting themselves as unethical sellers in their listing. That supersedes any positive seller history they may have.In those settings it is up to you to post that you accept F&F payments only …
My favorite is the $5K Richard Black listed in the for sale section laying in grass that looks desperately in need of cutting. What's with people's bare feet in cue pictures? Are they that lazy to take a nice picture for a cue worth a few thousand? I've seen that a few times now.
You just don't appreciate the artists intent of juxtaposing the "unaltered" state of nature against the pool cue which represents the rape of nature by both killing rare and exotic trees, then drying their corpses like beef jerky before cutting and carving them up into tragic reminders or the once former leafy green majesty into a skeletal tool for sketchy people at best to steal money from innocent rubes. My favorite is the $5K Richard Black listed in the for sale section laying in grass that looks desperately in need of cutting.
They're appealing to Tarantino. What's with people's bare feet in cue pictures? Are they that lazy to take a nice picture for a cue worth a few thousand? I've seen that a few times now.
Where would you buy the cues if not AZ or ebay? Usually the way they would end up with one is if it walked through the poolroom doorknowing anything about az.
is not a prerequisite for knowing about cues or buy expensive ones.
so many of the older pool players that would buy old famous wood cue makers cues dont use the internet much.
No question this is true. If you have the cash and you like the cue - nothing beats an in person cue deal negotiation. My first true custom cue purchase I walked to every booth at SBE and tried every cue maker's cue until buying one from Richard Black - it is still, to this day- my favorite cue of all time.the pool room is the best place to buy a cue. you get to hold and shoot it. and then bargain on the price.
and it is exactly as you see it.
And maybe the seller will let you take it home with you to try out for a few days!the pool room is the best place to buy a cue. you get to hold and shoot it. and then bargain on the price.

Yes but now many of the people who would want a Gina cue are gone or aged out from 20 years ago - also 2008 was the tail end of the market boom until the crash when everything dropped on price. The poster has now reduced ebay price to $3500.I had an old Gina Barbell Cue.
It was in rough shape and Ernie refinished it, rewrapped it and made a new shaft.
The two original shafts were way warped.
Got 4 K for it..........
This was around 2008........
Like I said 3500Yes but now many of the people who would want a Gina cue are gone or aged out from 20 years ago - also 2008 was the tail end of the market boom until the crash when everything dropped on price. The poster has now reduced ebay price to $3500.
I said $3-4K in my first response here- He is down to $3500 from $10000 - e Bayer’s May wait out for another price drop as he is not accepting offers. The listing was done all wrong from the start - don’t forget 13% to e bay- I’m guessing that he will be lucky at $2500 in his pocket- we shall see.Like I said 3500
Somebody offer 3k off Ebay and both buyer and seller will be happy.
