I owned an old original Palmer (no logo or steel corners) that I used for years. The thing fell apart and I dropped a cue one day so I threw the entire case in the garbage. Now I regret that
Would really like to have a pimp 1-2 hard case just like this. I bought a Cuetec (Ghost) 3-5 and really like it and the protection it provides but it’s a tank for just bar play.

I don't think anyone is making good box cases today.
If you really want a new one, a custom instrument case maker can make one.
I have one old one that someone took the interior out of. It's otherwise nearly perfect. I store shafts in it, in sleeves. I have thought about making some kind of funky 60's/ 70's style interior for it.
