I have never tried the Athlete H, I don't remember having that option, I in no way am criticizing Kamui products, wood and leather are natural products, CF and Bulletproof Recoil tips are not, IMHO there is an advantage in being able to be able to manufacture your product for a specific purpose and get more repeatable results, some just don't like the feel of CF, to me the Becue Prime II 12.0 shaft has the best balance of feedback and transfer of power, that is one of the complaints I hear about CF is it feels dead, no feedback, I wonder if young Efren Reyes was just getting to the states in this day and age.......
 
Put a Kamui Black M on my Revo 12.9, and felt the ball came off of it a little faster than I liked. Immediately cut it off and tried the Kamui Athlete M and it felt a little softer.
 
The Kamui Black Med is out of stock everywhere I normally get them. Probably just a supply chain thing, but maybe they are planning on replacing them with something new idk? There is the Athlete now and I heard a rumor there is another new one to come out.

That's odd. I am currently only out of clear black soft, clear black super soft, and snooker tips. I have plenty of regular black medium and a few clear black medium left. Going to be restocked by the end of the month. Early November if customs hits me. kamuitips.com should have what you're looking for! When I get restocked I'll also have the new ACE cowhide tip in medium which is the rumored tip you're referring to.
