The four that stand out to me are SVB and Melling, Cousins and Brennan, Sky and Justin, and the defending champions Craig and Dennis. So many of the other teams can win these alternate break races...

agree. Surprised Chris Melling is flying to the U.S for such a low prize fund unless there is another tournament he wants to play in he can combine into the same trip, or Ultimate Pool are covering his costs. Mind you maybe he just thinks it would be cool to play with SVB.

I think it was $200 per team.

I love watching Melling play as some of the things he can do with the cue ball are unbelievable and he has amazing vision. Don't think he wins the tournaments he should for someone of his ability and I think it's down to focus and concentration, normally he's using his amazing shot making ability to get out of a situation he shouldn't have been in in the first place. Wonder if playing with SVB will make him more focused, you don't really want to be letting down a legend of the sport with careless positional shots.
