Seller claims this is a Whitten case but the logo is not one I've seen before. Anyone have any insight?

$2195 on E-Bay..

Damn - you nailed that! Thank you Chopdoc! If I buy a $2000 Whitten case, its value drops instantly once it becomes logo'd with someone elses logo...

Maybe the Case belong to GinaCue Ernie?

Joe Whiiten might know history of Case, Joe made 1 x 2s for Ernie.

Email Joe with ?

Whitten makes cases with Richard Black's logo as well as a bunch of other makers. You can also normally replace that insert by contacting Whitten.

As an aside, that seems like a high price for a "genuine embossed" 6x12 Whitten.

Agreed, I made an offer at my upper limit of $1,700, but it was immediately rejected. I"m just going to Whitten direct and order one. I wish there were more options in the 6x12 size..

Whitten cases are my favorite for sure. I already have several. I have a Whitten case custom made for Ariel Carmeli. It holds my #1of 5 35th anniversary Carmeli monster. Finest case I've ever seen holding the finest cue I've ever owned.....
