Plenty of video shots the 4 and the 8 are indistinguishable.

Not sure, but plenty of times on a wide shot you can't tell the 8 from the 4.

I can see the difference on my tv, but if you're watching it on a phone or something it's a little more difficult

In its home country, Ultimate Pool uses reds and yellows, so the black and white striped 8 ball stands out better. Probably a better ball set to use.

I can easily tell them apart watching on my laptop, even on the distant full table view.

I can distinguish them, even on my phone, but it takes a little effort.

Maybe try a pink 4? Then, to minimize confusion, at some point down the road randomly turn the 5 purple?

I can see them clearly on my laptop. On a phone, it is definitely tough.

I still don't understand why they are using Aramith balls. They obviously have a good relationship with Brunswick.

Kind of. The pink and orange get a little mixed up on phones, too.
