I've got a serious Dale Perry 1/1 Rosewood, 12 pointer w/ Malachite inlay looker. Hits good, two shafts 95% new cue, talisman tips. Honestly gets more looks than a bunch of other expensive cues I've used. $400 shipped. This will get her a fancy looking cue for a great price with the extra shaft.

I currently use a original 314 promo type shaft at least like 10 yrs old I think. It still has the black ring on it. Anyways, I think its fine, what does bug me is a slightly mushrooming tip , I turn until I see a flush shaft in sight with the OB, is it just me?

ALOT of players out in socal. use them and swear by them. FOr me, I thought the hit felt a bit "soft" but every one is different. The quality of work and detail is great. Higher end ones are defintely lookers...a great custom cue, but dont forget all the other makers when jumping into this...
