Why does he use phenolic ferrules??? How do they affect the hit of the cue?

Great looking cue...and Mike Stacey is a great guy. I picked a few from him @ the Derby.

I have the inverted version....pau ferro forearm with a ebony points. ebony, holly veneers....Jerry Franklin!!! I might be willing to part with it for the right $$$$.

Roger Allen... Roger is from Conroe Texas...He makes cues out of his shop at home, and does all the in house repairs out of Bogey's... He has made cues for David G....Mark Garza...as well as many other pros in the Houston area. Known for his awesome Jump Breaks, he also makes a great playing cue.

These cues were made in the late 60's for Sears...they made these to resemble Brunswick blanks. They still make for a great conversion. $150.

I understand completely....but,...ebay and paypal are going nowhere, and they probably dont know why any of us are paying over 1000 for a "piece of wood" anyway. Back to the ? at hand...the market is a down right now. The only cues that seem to be moving are SW (of course), Gina, TS, Black...

To answer your question... 99% of the pool world doesnt have that extra cash to buy cues that they dont need... And those who do have the extra cash usually go directly to the builder of the preference and get something that they truly want...I buy/sell/trade cues all the time; and it is tough...

What is your opinion on using Pocket Reducers????.... *How should one utilize them to get the most out of them?

This is a great cue...saw it in person at the Fast Eddies Tour Stops here in Houston...Jerry did a great job. Jerry lives down the street from and i remember him doing the wrap...Perfect!

I broker cues all the time...I only make money if the cue sells; even then I only get a commission. A small one at that. But i love doing it. And it keeps me busy & i meet alot of interesting people.

It only bothers me when they try to haggle on the price the next day or so...so that they can increase 'their' profit. I have nothing against people making money. So long as i make mine first! I once sent pics of a cue to someone, and never heard from them again. The following year the pics...
