I have one I bought (hocked) from Cliff Joyner a couple of years back. He told me he is out of Texas. Anyone know this guy? It's a nice cue and hits real good. I'm ready to sell it if anyone is interested. PM me with your e-mail and I'll send you some photos.

Roger Allen...

Roger is from Conroe Texas...He makes cues out of his shop at home, and does all the in house repairs out of Bogey's...
He has made cues for David G....Mark Garza...as well as many other pros in the Houston area. Known for his awesome Jump Breaks, he also makes a great playing cue.

Sorry All. I just found out that this is an AO Cue made by Anne Mayes. I see her logo is a perfect match for what I see in the 3rd Edition Blue Book. It is a very nice cue, with four floating points above and below the wrap. There are diamond inlays above and below the points. The points appear to be ivory, as are the inlays.

There are two very nice hard rock maple shafts, one is 13mm and the other is 13.25mm. The cue was made for Cliff to his specs in 2003. And I acquired it two years later. It is 19.5oz. and has the flat faced joint that he likes. I think the butt is solid Purple Heart, and the points are outlined in ebony.

It is a very nice looking cue and has a nice clean hit. The ferrules are either ivory or buckhorn. It is 58" long. I would say that it is 98% condition. According to the Blue Book, this cue would be valued close to $1,000. I will take the best offer over $500.

Sorry for my error on naming this cue. I may have been confused by what Cliff told me. I think he also had a Roger Allen cue, but chose to hock this one to me.
