I was watching an 8 ball tournament on YT. The leader was on the 8 ball and rattled the called pocket. The opponent grabbed ball in hand instead of just loss of turn.
Is this standard rules? If so, I could not specifically find it via WPA.
Thanks.
I just bought one on Amazon for $120. It works fantastic with one exception.
The top does not really latch, it just uses friction. You want to hold it down for the 2 minutes that it runs, because it can and will pop open with 16 balls spinning 1000 rpm going all over the room.
I used an alcohol...
The sticker is on the cabinet. It is the main sticker with a the model name and number. The slate also has a certified Brunswick sticker from Brasil.
The table looks nice and plays way better that the no name I had before.
I like it, I just thought it strange that a company makes a big deal...

I did not buy one on the Contender models, it is one of the Brunswick tables that I thought was a better made table that was really made here.

Their web site does not mention them except as part of a play package.
Some people advertise them as the same resin as the pro balls with lesser tolerance, some say they are not a true phenolic resin.
Thanks
Easy stupid question, I hope. I am getting a new table and want to make sure I set it up the way it is customarily done.
Is there a differnce? I am thinking it goes at the foot.
Thanks
BCA 8 ball rule 3.8 states it is loss of game to foul when pocketing the 8 ball.
A.Does this mean you lose if you can't make contact with the 8 ball?
B. Does this mean you lose if don't make the 8 ball after contact and fail to drive a ball to a rail?
thanks for helping a noob.
