The Big Dawgs 9-Ball event starts the 11th. The 9th and 10th are 1 pocket, so there may be a decent turnout for this event. Like you said Bob, the money odds are good. $100 entry, go 0-2, you'll walk away with $250.

The difference here is that Poland as a National Governing Body provides governmental stipends for those players to develop, travel and compete, much like the Netherlands, and Germany. Those players can breakeven in events and are still getting paid through the government because of the IOC's...

Couple of things to note, this is a "World Championship" but a WCBS Championship event. Also, and I don't think it's in the release but I've heard it will feature four disciplines: Pool, Snooker, Carom and HeyBall.
