Given my limited experience of Tokyo in June, I didn’t come across any brick and mortar stores for buying cues. And in the pool halls that I did visit, there were a couple of cues in display cases but mainly tips and accessories.

They look better IRL but that 100 logo takes a while to warm up to…
I've got Mezz's that are both recent and from 20+ years ago - all feel incredibly consistent. A friend commented recently on how flush the shaft and butt met at the joint with - hardly a lip.

The scene has also gotten much better since Matchroom have picked up 9-Ball - a lot more players now so if you ever pass through, no doubt you'll find yourself a game!
Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but does anyone know if the Mezz standard shaft ever not had a Mezz logo? I acquired a Mezz cue recently which came with two shafts - A WD700 and a what appears to be just a maple shaft (no Mezz logo's at all).
