I remember watching golf on TV a couple of years ago and hearing them talk about how quite a few players were taking beta-blockers to calm their nerves. Nick Price was one named. I guess they had no policy about it and he was up front about it. I don't know if anything has changed since.

Thank you Melissa for the 2005 schedule post, but my Thanksgiving will be greatly diminished seeing that Tunica is no longer on the schedule. I loved driving down there and thought the event was pretty popular. Does its canceling have anything to do with Steve Tipton's exit?

I will be going down to the Florida event next week. Third event of the year I will be able to catch. Should be interesting with the new format. I've got tix for Thu and Fri, but I am not very happy with the weird scheduling and limited amount of matches on Saturday, so I am passing on that...

Here's one that may even stump Gremlin--Veronica Vivette. I recall seeing her play a couple of years ago in Peoria. I think she lost hill-hill to Kim Shaw. Very attractive. Got a picture of Veronica, Gremlin?

I will be driving down early on Thursday AM and stay thru Sat night. I love watching the early round matches and seeing different players working so hard to reach the highest levels.

Kim made such nice progress early last year, I was very surprised that she skipped the Windsor tourney. I love to watch her play and I hope she will be in the Delta next month.

I have done both and prefer the VIP seating. If you plan to really see alot of matches over many days, you will want the most "kiester-friendly" seating that you can get. (Sam's Town does have comfortable general seating, though, compared to the other places I've been). The other thing is...
