I'm mainly wanting to shoot with a Joss, McDormett and Viking b/c that's all I really know of that are decent looking cues under $375 range with a reputable name that i can actually shoot with before buying.

Can anyone find a link, webpage giving a breakdown of different production cue charateristics....For instance, Meucci, 12.75 tip, black dot shaft whipy...so on??? I own a Meucci and I'm looking into buying a little stiffer stick, (under $350)not sure if I want Joss, McDormett, Viking etc. etc...

anyone else have an opinion? will the triangle hold chalk as well as elk master w/o the glaze?

Okay I've been shooting with Elk Master tips for the english i can apply and how well they hold chalk. I like them but I've noticed that I really don't get the total feel and hit I want from the tip until its almost time for a new one. (you can finally hear and feel the hit) But on the other end...

Well I can afford a Schon, but I'm just worried that I'm so used to a "whipy" stick and hits soft that a stiffer shaft will cause me problems if the schon is soo much stiffer. I enjoy having alot of qball action, (maybe too much! lol) and i enjoy the stick being a little whipy, the schon shaft...

Okay I currently shoot with a Meucci w/ black dot, started shooting with friends Meucci Original, now I don't like my black dot near as much. How much difference will there be between Meucci and Schon? What difference will there be? Is the Schon really worth the money? Thanks guys.

Okay there are quite a few "Meucci Originals" that are brand new for sale on ebay....My question is, did Meucci start remanufacturing these cues with the old logo and no dot shaft??? HELP...

Okay, the guy you are talking about is selling quite a few sticks, he also said he is going to auction extra shafts, would it be just as good to get an original shaft and put with my new style butt? or should i spend a couple more hundred and get the whole deal?

Okay its opinion time, I want and Original, with the block style emblem. I like them but do they play as well as the new style Meucci? Better? Are they worth money I'll shell out to find a good stick that is 20 years old?

So by me lining up the shot then moving my brigde hand to apply english, then compensating for squirt that is a good way to keep practicing? 1 more guys, sorry, if i line up then move my bridge 1.5 tips to the right, should i move my grip hand that far over or stroke the cue ball at an angle?

I love draw shots! But saddly, it all depends on the conditions of the table... to a certain degree. My recommendation for having a good stroke is (aside from the word: PRACTICE) keeping your lower arm straight yet relaxed. As Scott Lee recommends as well, try not to lower your elbow down but...
