I have been enjoying this event also. The first time I saw Rafael play was at a tourney in the Washington state area. It was scary to see how good he was and the way he made the seemingly impossible happen.
15" today and snow forcasted nearly every day for the next week at least. Our snow used to end by June but now we are out of the woods by the first week of May.
Not that I know of. If they did it may have been to a select few builders back in the early days.
In my opinion the one piece Willie Hoppe cues were considered blanks by many top cue makers. With the number of Hoppes that were produced...they still are!
This is how I mark my table. The first time I did it I decided to go whole hog and used a black sharpie.
I was careful not to stop the pen once started and tried to keep the pressure on the marker the same through the process.
It came in handy for drills and racking after a year the black line...
I saw one about 15 years ago. light weight full size butt but a short shaft. I did not try it as I am not much of a jumper. The guy who had it said it jumped fine but it never caught on. May have been locally made in Colorado.
If you run into Chisolm ask him about it. I will do the same next...
I had a good friend and a great pool player ask me once how I liked Pool Hall junkies. I admitted that I had never seen it. My friend asked WTF? I told him I heard it was a terrible movie and a waste of time.
He told me that it was a movie about pool, and that I love the game so I watched it...
Yes, lets see if it makes it to the big screen. It's not like we have a lot to choose from. If you are like me (and I know I am) we will watch it even if it sucks.
