I don't know why, but your post made me think about what the "stroke" actually is... It can be considered just the forward motion of the cue. I think the pause is just a way to settle yourself before you stroke the ball.

The casino is awesome, and the area is BEAUTIFUL! The town itself is built around the casinos so there isn't much else going on out there. I recommend getting there if you can!

There are some chairs and plenty of standing room for all of the matches. Once the doubles reaches the semis, they will be in the arena with loads of seating.

I hope I got this right... On your "dink" shots, you MUST hit the OB, but no rail is necessary? If you just tap the CB into a better position without contacting the OB, is it treated like hitting the wrong ball first and you get a 4 stroke penalty?

What happened at 4:07 in the video? You made the bank shot then your cue ball was straight in on the 5 ball. Did you use a stroke to just tap the cue ball into position instead of risking a tough bank on the 5? Are you allowed to "foul" to give yourself better position? Looking forward to...

The four that stand out to me are SVB and Melling, Cousins and Brennan, Sky and Justin, and the defending champions Craig and Dennis. So many of the other teams can win these alternate break races...
