What are their lengths are they still straight?

Someone told me that if a CB hits the OB and the OB slow rolls to the pocket without hitting a rail, but crosses the imaginary "rail line" it is not a foul, any truth to this? Personally, I would call foul, but I could be wrong...

Scenario, Object ball goes inside the pocket, then comes out without hitting the rail, is it a legal shot? OB does not hit a rail prior to going inside the pocket
