Everyone just uses the entry fees to determinie if the tournament is a rip off, that the promotor took too much of the money. What does anyone know about the 'sponsorship deals' of these events? You can bet that Predator put some bucks into the fund and other sponsors too. Granted many sponsor...

If he really helped my game over the phone, I'd ask his address and send him at least half the price of a real lesson no matter what he said. I've met him and I doubt very much he is rolling in dough.

It happens a lot with young players who start out playing each other at the PR. One excels and stays in the pool world, the other cant seem to advance and fades into the real world. Unfortunately in the end, the winner loses.
