Phone Lesson with Ron Vitello

I had the pleasure of taking a lesson over the phone with Ron Vitello last week. I think that Ron is a quality guy with a unique aiming system. I think that it is great that Ron is willing to teach people free of charge, over the telephone. When I have a chance I plan on going to NYC and taking a lesson from him in person. If anybody is on the fence about calling Ron, then I'd urge you not to hesitate. Ron is accessible and willing to help. The first time I tried to talk to Ron I had some problems with my cell phone, and Ron was more than willing to reschedule, once he got back from the expo. Ron is a good guy with a lot to offer.

Over the Phone?

Wow that seems hard
Can you explain a little more of his process over the phone?
How does he start out?

Thanks

Carl

My second lesson over the phone is Monday.

The phone lesson is not as hard as you may think. Nothing beats a "in person" lesson, but when you are on the left coast it is difficult. Ron V will explain where he wants you at the table, so you are on the same page. He will then have you set up shots, explain his technique, and have you perform. I was able to do a few, I had my kids (school off track). My next lesson is Monday..SO NO-ONE CALL HIM ON MONDAY.:) :) :)

jdsons

P.S. Ron V is a super nice guy. The phone lesson is priced well.....FREE:cool:

The pocket Billiard community should recognize Ron Vitello as both one of the most innovative and knowledgable instructors today. His diamond and aiming systems have been tried and tested and are second to none! His insights in the game are such that he will deliver a concrete answer for any possible question you could have. Being coached by Ron V. is equilvent to a graduate or even a doctoral program in pocket billiards.

If he really helped my game over the phone, I'd ask his address and send him at least half the price of a real lesson no matter what he said. I've met him and I doubt very much he is rolling in dough.

Ronnies stuff dose works and for banking it is the bomb. The real deal is Hal Houle System center to edge it dead rocks. Hal has been giving free phone training for years. If you were at the expo and the guy that was preforming Ronnies system for about 50 on lookers was me. I was really on my stuff that day.

Cool. What are the steps in his aiming system?

Thanks,
Jim

It's not Carl. I had a student call me, while I was at the table, teaching in Las Vegas, at the BCAPL tournament. I talked him right through the 2-rail kicking system, as other students watched and listened. :D

On topic, Ron and I spoke on the phone the other day, and I plan to visit him in NYC soon, to swap ideas!:D

I had the pleasure to talk with Ron thru emails. His system is sorta like Hals pivot system. He is a great guy, with some good stories.
