I don't think they're that worried about the fan base. I just think most of them are really computer guys. They hang out in pool halls all day doing what they do best and having fun. I bet they give out lots of advice to people who ask them directly when they see them out playing.

I think starting over and letting player A break again is the best way to go. That way you start fresh and even and no one can get all jack up and pissed off later if things aren't going the way they want. Its sad but I think a lot of inexperienced pool players buy cues strictly based on how its looks. A piece a poo wrapped in a pretty wrapper is still piece of poo.
