    Joe Rogan promotes AZ forum!

There's hyperbole in all sports, and certainly in boxing and MMA promotion. I think the point of the quote is that you can be completely dedicated to anything in life, to the point that you spend all of your time doing it and success or failure makes or breaks you. But you're putting yourself...

    WTB Mcdermott i-1 shaft

I would check out eBay, always good listings on there for new and used I shafts.

    I Just Started A Blog

As someone else mentioned I would DEFINITELY opt to use Wordpress. Extremely functional and flexible. FYI your own website name would cost about $10/year to purchase and $10/month to host.

Is this a real McDermott ?

That's the Star Performance Tremor cue. While not under the McDermott brand name, it's manufactured by them as a cheaper option to their standard cues.

Galaxy Billiards in Silver Spring, MD

Forgot to quote the post, but yes Buffalo Billiards in Dupont is still open. I usually visit the happy hour upstairs at Front Page first since I know the bartenders there then head down.

Galaxy Billiards in Silver Spring, MD

Champion's in Rockville is now Winston's Billiards. Place is empty most of the time, more of a dive bar at this point than anything else. Orange Billiards on Rockville Pike isn't bad. Being the boxing fan that I am, it's great that they show the big fights.

    Break Cues

Do you need a real "break" cue? Of course you don't, but your reasons for wanting one could include: Not messing up your playing cue Getting more force with your breaks if you struggle otherwise Adding to your collection Easier jumping etc Really the most important reason is that you don't...

Pros & Cons of Small Tip Size

I'm sorry, but I saw the "pros & cons of small tip size" right under the "shanelle loraine in finals" thread... and had to laugh out loud! :) Just had to share.

New- McDermott Evo Soft Grip Cues

I haven't actually used one but I've read up on them and know some people who like them a lot. Don't know details about what the shaft is made from, but it isn't the G-Core or an I-Shaft if that's what you're thinking.

    Mcdermott cues

I think it's important to realize the distinction between custom cues and handcrafted cues... Something can be "production" but still be very high quality, but just not carry the "custom" tag...

    If you had $500-$600

Considering that the G-Core shaft comes on McDermott cues above $300, any of their models above that price would be a good value. If you wanted to spend the full amount, I'd be inclined to pick something like the Massey Mystic, the D26 Retro or the Lucky 7, all of which will be in that $5-600...

McDermott was sold, not closed down...

As opposed to the American Lager by Budweiser, now owned by Imbev? LOL

Has anyone tried the new G-Core Shaft?

No no no. The I shafts are still their top level shafts. They come with their cues over $900. G-Core is the intermediate range, comes on cues $300-900.
