I think everybody agree that 4" pockets are extreme.
The thing is when I started playing pool I saw most of the people playing on 4" pockets and they still do, so that is why I play on those tables.

I have been playing pool since November last year. When I started to play I always played on tables with 4" pockets.
Now my question is should I keep practicing on these tables? sometimes I got frustrate because I can't pocket a single ball or if I pocket the ball...
I'm married with no kids but my wife hates pool :frown:.. I work full time. The good thing is that my days off are the days that my wife works :).. So I have time to play. I play probably like 20 hours a week.
I will say Yes, It's possible.
I will say all the shots when the cue ball is frozen to the rail. I can't aim properly. I always think that I'm aiming right but when I shoot I always miss :mad:
There is 2 pool halls in San Francisco CA. Both are on the same level. The tables are decent.. Both halls have like 18 tables. 5 of them are tight pocket 4" and the rest are 5".
