    Is WPBA website down?

The brackets are on the WPBA site, so not exactly helpful at the moment (sorry). There's a thread on this board with the link to the brackets (but again, with the site down, can't see them now, but hopefully the site will be back up soon). PJ

Brackets for the WPBA Pacific Coast Classic

Can't think of a better reason to miss a tournament. Congrats to Jeanette and George! PJ

WPBA, go back to true duble elimination

Melissa has posted here before that the players vote on the format and have voted for this one. Of course, I would imagine that not everyone voted this way, but I doubt many decisions would be made completely unanimously. And, PoolSharkAllen, the even is usually always a race to 9 until the...

    WPBA U.S. Open

Julie Kelly went 2 and out. The WPBA site mentioned that both Line and Jasmin were two of five players who came right from an international event, which could explain if they were tired/not at their respective bests. I don't know who the other 3 are, but wouldn't be surprised if Julie was one...

    SJM at WPBA Michigan City

I think you might thinking of Joanne Mason-Parker. Julie Mason did play on the WPBA tour a few years back. I remember her playing Jeanette Lee on one of the ESPN Ultimate 9-Ball Challenges (the above mentioned Joanne Mason-Parker played as well). PJ

    SJM at WPBA San Diego

Thanks for the updates. What a terrible way for Jennifer to go out. Talk about having unfortunate luck at the absolute worst possible time. Still nice to have her back playing, though. PJ

    WPBA live this weekend

A couple players are returning. Tracie Hines and Jennifer Barretta are both in the tournament. Great to see them back. I would love to see Jennifer come back strong. PJ

    Jennifer Barretta Interview

Thanks for posting the interview. I'm happy for Jennifer because she seems so happy. It's good that she is happy where she is in life and I like that she hasn't ruled out a return to professional pool in the future. PJ

    WPBA Nationals

I'm glad someone brought it up, because I was going to ask who the new "best player never to win a title" was going to be. It'll be interesting to see how Monica does in the first event of 2009. I wonder if the burden of finally winning a title was weighing on her, which hindered her in...

    WPBA Nationals

Since this was a major, are the points worth 1.5x the amount they usually are (like how they were at the US Open)? Regardless, being so close, Vivian should take over the #4 spot. I have to say, this has been a very exciting year on the WPBA tour with so many different winners and new faces...
