I looked frame by frame and the 11ball didn't move until well after contact with the 12 ball. I think the 11ball was so close to the lip of the pocket that the vibration set it off. OR, that compression of the rail prior to contact pushed it over. At least thats how it looks like to me.

I getcha...but SJM: I feel similar for 9ball, but its what separates 10ball. Without it in 10ball, it makes it 9ball with an extra ball. Not much difference there. I prefer playing 10ball over 9ball because of these added conditions. Lucky or 2way shots, I feel, have their place in 9ball...

I feel your pain! If you have to draw hard on a rail riding shot, chances are good that it will rattle. I think its because the location where the ball hits on the shims is still well over the shelf. If they bounce off hard enough, then never make it over the lip, or if there is some spin...

Yeah, if you're going to play the relaxed version of this rule, it'll be confusing. I don't agree with it, but whatever. So long as both sides agree to play it, then its fair. It's looks to be just as bad as various coaching rules. LOL.

Adding: The balls number is the point value of the ball, ie the 15 ball is worth 15points. Each ball pocketed is tabulated until a shooter makes 61 points and wins as a result. There are 121 points in total. Its a different scoring system than the American Rotation.
