i tried laminated tips sometime ago... I tried kamui black and brown S and M, not very satisfied... they played very hard and glazing very often. I also tried DaVinci and one was actually quite good but another even tho it is S played rock hard and didn't hold chalk well ( maybe defective?)...

I understand. The point is I'm not really familiar with cuetips, I basically played with whatever cuetip I got and played for a while with elkmaster and I don't know if I'm missing something by playing with it and should look for harder tips. I just recently switched to three cushions from pool.

Do Multi Layered tips create more spin compared to single layer tips? I heard they do, but I don't know if it is true or just a myth. Thank you.

I really like Elk Master tip on my cue but a lot of players in my room said they are too soft for playing three cushions and I should look for a harder tip, probably multilayered. Honestly I'm not very knowledgeable about cuetips and I didn't know what to reply. What do you think?

I miscue more often with a kamui. Other players have similar problems. I rarely miscue using other tips. Anyway, I play three cushion billiards, so I use extreme side more often than in pool.
