Couldn't wait that long so went and play for about 20 minutes. This cue hits great. Now I know what it means to have the compression joint, definitely feels the difference as I am tightening up the shaft to the butt. Also, with the first hit not only it hits very solid, first sense I have is...
Thank you Matt, Dean, and Jason!
Been in communication with seller and I believe them that they really didn't know any difference and took it out to take pictures only. I am satisfied with the price paid as well.
Eager to receive and start playing with it!
Cheers,
Hugh
Agreed. Truth be told, I would be playing it the second it was delivered and be stuck on the table for the next 5-10 hours. New and Unused in caps and repeated a number of times is supposed to mean something and quite significant. In this case, not sure if the seller actually new either way...
Thanks Kirby!
I was kind of thinking of this and knew I will get some information from here. Thanks for jumping in and letting me know. Fortunately, that wasn't too important for me as I am not into collecting but playing with them. However, it does leave a little sour taste since I am a man...
To round out my cues, my dream Tascarella Hoppe will be here in a day or two. Wonder if this will displace my Jerry Bushka that I've been playing daily.
Been thinking if I should order another shaft(s) since I had preferred playing with 12.3 - 11.75 tip diameter. Recently been more flexible...
with a mind for the future but a heart for tradition. :). Love the traditional look.
This thing is competing for table time with the Scruggs oddly. I put it into the case and it keeps coming and staying out. This is from one that only play with one cue and don't care to switch around.
Thank you, Matt for the info.
This is definitely from Deanoc's Bushka 1 project and was originally built by RascalDoc.
I saw it back then and been eyeing it.
