My reply. I think most people are introduced to pool in bars. Most bar table are in poor condition, jammed into corners and the cues are pieces of #$%. I play golf. If most golf courses were as bad as most bar tables the sport would suffer just like pool. Golfers gamble, golfers drink...

Anyone know of any pool rooms or good bar tables in Lansing Michigan? I spend a night there about once a month and end up playing on rotten little bar boxes that are packed so tight I have to cue over somebody's beer.

Heres To John Here's my two cents. He was a gentlemen in love with cues. I bought a number of them from him and he was as honest and straight as they come. I still keep the cue photos he sent every month.

I think the size of the holes in the table are most influential on ball pocketing.

Looking for some opinions on these shafts. I have never hit an OB-1 or the 2nd generation Predator 314 or z shafts. I do have a Kornele cue with a 1st generation 314 and it happens to be my favorite. I recently had Steve make me another cue and now I want to try another shaft so I'm debating...

Well, the difference is in one case the law is protecting property rights and in the other the law is taking away property rights.

I think Steve makes great cues. I own two and he is building one for me now. Excellent craftmanship and a wonderful hit. Good guy to work with too.
