I'm surprised this didn't get snatched up asa it hit the 4 sale forum!! Wish I had a spare grandè. 😉 Those old Joss hit solid.

Really nice cue, I have been following Joss Gold Letter and Silver letter cues for the better part of 20 years so I thought I would throw my 2 cents in.
I think your priced about $3-400 to high based on what I have seen dozens sale for, I think the other reason is because of the Veneers.
There is just a smaller market interested in Veneers without color, I have found this to be true with any make of cue.
Still a really nice piece of history and very nice cue.

I’d say he’s 2-300 above market and I agree about the veneers. But Joss cues from that era hit really well.

I appreciate the 2 cents. I understand the veneer statement but there’s also something nice about no color. I have seen these sell for well over a thousand. If someone likes it they will buy it but if not then no worries. They do hit really well. I priced it according to what I’ve seen them sell for. I’m not gonna give it away because I don’t need to sell it. I’m gonna leave it at this price and if it sells it sells. I’m considering sending it to joss for a refinish. If I do that then I’ll certainly keep it. I think the days of $350 joss cues from the 80s are gone. I see all these new cue makers coming out that nobody has ever heard of and they’re charging $1500 for a Merry Widow with 1 shaft. This cue is proven and there aren’t any left with this veneer configuration. It’s simple but beautiful.

This must be an E. Coast Joss.
At that time in life, Bill was making his cues here in CO.
This looks like a? Danny James? E. Coast Joss.
Not sure if I got Dans last name correct.
Don't remember Billy having that Joss logo.
