Your best thrift store, garage sale, or pawn shop billiard find

My dad found this McDermott G902 at a pawn shop out of state. The shop wanted $1,100 for it. My dad stopped by 3x looking at it, on the 3rd visit the pawnbroker asked my dad how much he would give him for it. My dad said $400 and he took it. We contacted McDermott Cues and they valued it at over $2,000. What a steal of a good deal!

Nowadays you can take a picture of suff and google can identify it and reference you to sites where like things are for sale. But with pool cues they're not always identified via signatures or labels. So, you have to go by design, craftsmanship, general appearance an the joint rings.
