Before Styer shanked that 8 ball in the critical game 11, when he looked like he was about to take a 7-4 lead, I was wondering why he was using draw English on what looked like a pretty steep angle. If he'd just slow rolled the 8 it looked like he would've been perfect on the 9.

Too bad he blew it, especially after Shane came up with that spectacular 9 and out in his hill-hill match with Oi. That long 1 ball shot with the cue ball practically stuck on the back rail was a thing of beauty.

raga looking sharp. interesting match. in gambling i don't think chua plays raga even. in WNT tournament chua is probably slight favorite. 2-1 raga.

Lots of "audible clock" problems in the Gorst-Lechner match. The ref failed to call 10 on Gorst and then called 5 with no time to prepare.

They need a visible indicator very badly, like a bar of lights that goes green-yellow-red like is used in other events.

I guess Yapp made an enigmatic post about his loss with the phrase “wax in or wax off”. Dom Dunn picked up that story saying multiple players are suggesting the Pinoys are waxing the cueballs. Interesting that Yapp just lost to Ignacio. That and Ignacio was in drama at last years WPC when Comino was concerned Ignacio was apply talcum powder to the pocket facings.

How would waxing a cue ball give any advantage?
