World Pool Championships 2025, July 21-26, Jeddah

First of all how does he wax the cue ball when they don't handle the ball long enough to do so. There are refs who handle the balls too. They can feel if something was wrong.

Most likely sharking tactics.

if you practice with silicone on the balls you know how they react, you're tuned in to it. then when in competition spray a little in the pocket or on your glove, it will transfer to the balls, the cloth and the ref's gloves

They have to be crazy to do that. LOL

I love the drama.

raga looking sharp. interesting match. in gambling i don't think chua plays raga even. in WNT tournament chua is probably slight favorite. 2-1 raga.
Raga up 9-6, but this isn't over. Raga hasn't broken the balls well, and Chua is getting his looks at the table. Chua just isn't making enough of those chances count.

How would waxing a cue ball give any advantage?
Obviously waxing a ball would make it behave differently. That would be an advantage if you personally have trained with a waxed ball but your opponent hasn't. Especially if your opponent wasn't aware you did or approve it. I'm sure Matchroom wouldn't approve of players altering the equipment. Also it's a WPA rule that balls are not to be waxed.
